Flying splice tape is repulpable double-sided high speed splicing tape. It is most commonly used in paper manufacturing industries, to attach an already machine threaded paper reel to the new paper reel. Splice tapes are used to make a manufacturing process continual, joining the end of a web of material to the beginning of a new web, or roll of material. This process of splicing the paper reels allows operators to avoid lengthy downtimes and run continuous production without having to re-thread the material through their equipment.
Flying splice tape used for high speed splicing conditions when high tack is required and to compensate for roll profile issues. It can used for heavy weight papers in manual and automatic splicing equipment for high speed splicing conditions when high tack. Additional blue color on the backside.
Single side and Double side coated flying splice tape are widely used in manufacturing industries such as pressure sensitive adhesive coating, flexible film and paper coating, commercial printing, newspaper printing, pulp & paper manufacturing, corrugated board manufacturing, converting, die-cutting, as well as roll tabbing and core start-up.
