Foil Scrim Kraft Insulation Tape

Foil scrim kraft insulation tape is designed to seal FSK-facing fiberglass duct board and pipe insulation against moisture and vapor. Foil scrim kraft insulation tape can also be used for patching rips and tears in foil-facing insulation and can be used with fiberglass duct wrap for added strength.

Foil-scrim-kraft (FSK) is a flame retardant, vapor-barrier, and it is one of the most commonly used facings in the insulation industry. High-strength foil-scrim-kraft paper all laminated together using a flame-retardant adhesive.

Foil scrim kraft insulation features an aggressive, all-weather acrylic adhesive that bonds tightly and permanently when smoothed down on the insulation facing surface. All Weather adhesive technology permits service temperatures of -22℉ to +176℉ (-30℃ to +80℃), and an application range of +50℉ to +105℉ (+10℃ to +40℃). It is primarily used for seam sealing and patching of FSK-faced duct wrap insulation.
