Repulpable Tape Description

Both the adhesive and backing material of this tape are repulpable, meaning they break down and dissolve during the pulping process, allowing for easy recycling along with paper fibers. The tape is designed to provide a low splicing thickness, making it ideal for seamless, smooth connections between paper rolls without adding bulk. This Single Sided Repulpable Splicing Tape can withstand temperatures up to 200°C, making it suitable for high-heat environments in printing presses, coaters, and other industrial machines.

Tape Applications

1. Butt Splicing: Used to join the ends of two paper rolls by butting them together and applying the tape over the seam, ensuring continuous production.
2. Core Starting: Attaches the leading edge of a paper web to the core of a new roll, allowing for smooth transitions during roll changes.
3. End Tabbing / Roll Finishing: Secures the tail end of a finished paper roll, facilitating smooth operation and efficient roll completion.
