Foil Scrim Kraft Tape

Foil Scrim Kraft Tape, also known as FSK tape, is a type of tape that is made from a combination of aluminum foil, fiberglass scrim, and kraft paper. It is a versatile, durable tape used in insulation, sealing, and vapor barrier applications, particularly in the construction and HVAC industries.

Foil Scrim Kraft Tape consists of three layers: a backing layer made of reinforced foil, a scrim (fiberglass) layer for added strength, and a kraft paper layer on the adhesive side. The foil Layer is a thin layer of aluminum foil that offers durability, resistance to heat, and moisture. The foil helps to reflect heat and acts as a barrier to air, water, and vapor. The scrim Layer provides additional strength and helps prevent the tape from tearing or breaking under stress. The kraft paper layer adds further reinforcement and structure to the tape. High-strength foil-scrim-kraft paper is all laminated together using a flame-retardant adhesive, and provides a strong bond to various surfaces.
