Reinforced Aluminum Foil Tape

Reinforced aluminum foil tape is designed to provide a vapor barrier seal on HVAC duct insulation. The tape is offered in silver color of outer surface that it will be UV reflective duct insulation wrapping.

The aluminum foil tape is coating with water-based acrylic adhesive with a silicone paper liner. Aluminum foil tape backing is 18um aluminum foil laminated with the 2-way scrim 5x5mm. The scrim formed by a set of fiberglass yarns, in a transverse arrangement, where these are spaced from each other at a distance of 5mm.

Reinforced aluminum foil tape is tear-resistant and offers a super high-tack, acrylic adhesive that bonds tightly to surfaces. The tape can be used on applications that operate within a wide temperature range.

Reinforced aluminum foil tape are used on pipes, ducts, and buildings for both interior and exterior applications. They cut easily and install easily in the field. They are available in smooth or irregular surface finish in a variety of thicknesses.
