Tape Description

SLAA ASJ Tape is manufactured using a reinforced aluminum foil and fiberglass scrim laminate coated with a high-performance solvent acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. The reinforced construction delivers excellent tensile strength, tear resistance, and dimensional stability while remaining flexible enough to conform to curved pipes, fittings, ducts, and irregular insulation surfaces.

The solvent acrylic adhesive offers outstanding long-term bonding performance and excellent resistance to temperature fluctuations, aging, moisture, and UV exposure. Protected by an easy-release silicone liner, the tape is simple to apply and ensures precise positioning during installation.

Designed specifically for ASJ (All Service Jacket) insulation, the tape provides a clean, durable finish while maintaining the integrity of the insulation jacket. It is widely used as a butt strip, joint sealer, vapor barrier, and repair tape throughout HVAC systems, chilled water piping, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical insulation installations.
