What is the scrim that we used it to double side transfer tape?

Scrim is a cost-effective reinforcing fabric made from continuous filament yarn in an open mesh construction. The scrim mesh size is 22x6mm. The laid scrim manufacturing process chemically bonds non-woven yarns together, enhancing the scrim with unique characteristics:

Dimensional stability, Tensile strength, Alkali resistance, Tear resistance, Fire resistance, Anti-microbial properties, Water resistance.

So the Double side transfer tape with scrim also named scrim reinforced adhesives transfer tape or scrim transfer tape double sided reinforced tape.

This double sided transfer scrim tape combines excellent initial adhesion, cohesion strength, shear strength and long term adhesion. For a wide variety of bonding applications where high adhesion is required especially to difficult surfaces such as foams, PE and PP films. Suitable for porous and rough or uneven surfaces such as embossed plastics and metals. Automotive, Transport and electronics industries. Use to bonding windows and doors, bonding carpets, cable trunking and polythene membranes.
