Description

 

Double sided aluminum insulation is made from 2 outer layers of pure aluminum foil and 1 layer F/R kraft paper. These layers are bonded together with F/R glue and reinforced with 3-way fiberglass scrim. Flame-retardant CM Grade reflective aluminum foil insulation.

Double-sided aluminum insulation act as a radiant barrier, reflecting heat back to its source and helping to maintain a more stable indoor temperature. This can result in energy savings by reducing the need for heating or cooling.

The aluminum foil layers also act as a vapor barrier, preventing the passage of moisture through the insulation material. This is particularly important in areas with high humidity levels or where moisture control is crucial, such as basements or crawl spaces.
