Scrim Kraft Insulation Foil Tape

Insulation foil tape is typically made of a thin layer of aluminum foil, which provides excellent thermal conductivity and reflects radiant heat. The foil is often laminated to a backing material, such as a reinforced paper or plastic film, to enhance its strength and durability. The tape is coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side, allowing it to adhere securely to various surfaces.

The primary purpose of insulation aluminum foil tape is to create a tight seal between insulation panels or to cover gaps and seams in insulation systems. It helps to prevent heat loss or gain, improve energy efficiency, and maintain a comfortable indoor environment.

Foil scrim kraft insulation features an aggressive, all-weather acrylic adhesive that bonds tightly and permanently when smoothed down on the insulation facing surface. All Weather adhesive technology permits service temperatures of -22℉ to +176℉ (-30℃ to +80℃), and an application range of +50℉ to +105℉ (+10℃ to +40℃). It is primarily used for seam sealing and patching of FSK-faced duct wrap insulation.
