These tapes use PE mesh or heat-sealed PE scrim as the reinforcing material and are laminated with aluminium foil as the backing. They are combined with high performance rubber-resin or solvent-acrylic adhesive, protected by an easy-release silicone paper.
These tapes are durable and meet the demands of a wide range of applications. Long-life acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive performs extremely well over a wide range of temperatures. Commonly used in the HVAC industry for sealing fibreglass, duct board, pipe section joints and seams. Vapour seal on reinforced aluminium foil faced fibreglass or mineral wool insulation.
