Insulation Facing Description

 

Foil Scrim Kraft facing, also know as FSK facingis, it a type of laminated insulation facing material used in the construction industry. It typically consists of a layer of aluminum foil, a layer of fiberglass scrim, and a layer of kraft paper. The outer layer is Aluminum foil and 80gsm Kraft paper. The middle layer is the glass fiber layer double side coated with adhesive, it increased tensile strength of FSK, and the aluminum foil and kraft paper are firmly bonded. This combination of materials provides a facing that is durable, tear-resistant, and has good vapor barrier properties.

Foil Scrim Kraft facing is commonly used as a facing material for duct wrap insulation, radiant barrier insulation, and other types of insulation applications. It helps to provide thermal insulation, moisture protection, and improve the overall performance of the insulation system. The aluminum foil layer provides a reflective surface to block radiant heat, while the kraft paper and fiberglass scrim provide strength and durability.

Foil Scrim Kraft facing is most commonly used to Ductwork insulation, HVAC systems, Exterior wall insulation, Metal building insulation, Pipeline insulation, Hot water tank insulation.
