Insulation Facing Description

 

FSK facing insulation FKSE-7511B is a utility grade laminated insulation facing with 2-way scrim and 50gsm kraft as well as heat-activated polyethylene on its back. No need for extra adhesive when using this foil scrim kraft paper.The thicker kraft provides neat apperance and enhances tensile strength, tear resistant and durability.

FSK Facing Insulation Applications:

Exterior Walls: Widely used in exterior walls of framed buildings to improve thermal performance, control moisture migration, and enhance durability during installation.

Attics: Can be used in attics to reflect heat radiating from the roof deck, reducing cooling loads in summer.

Floors (Basements and crawl spaces): The vapor barrier properties can help control moisture migration from the ground into the conditioned space in basements and crawl spaces.

HVAC Ducts: FSK facing can be used on the exterior of HVAC ducts to reflect heat and improve the overall efficiency of the heating and cooling system.
